Main Features
Benefits:
- Replace the seat instead of the entire valve
- Field serviceable without the need for special tools
Tri-clamps are widely recognized as a standard sanitary connection in North America. This system features a gasket positioned between two tri-clamp ferrules or flanges, secured by a mechanical clamp. Constructed from stainless steel, it is ideal for piping applications in the food, beverage, biotech, and pharmaceutical sectors. The ball tri-clamp check valve is designed for efficient and thorough line purging, ensuring a high level of cleanliness. It meets the stringent requirements of both ASME A270 and 3A certifications.
Product Details:
- Clamp & Cap Size: + 0.5″ Larger Than Valve Size
- 3A authorized 58-00
Construction:
- PTFE ball
- Two-piece construction
- All metal surfaces are made from 316L stainless steel
How It Works:
- During fluid flow, the ball is pushed into the valve branch, allowing unobstructed fluid passage. When the flow ceases, the pressure equalizes, causing the ball to return to its seat, effectively preventing backflow. In the event of reverse flow, the differential pressure ensures the ball seals tightly against the seat, eliminating leakage.
