The HAV Series Tri-Clamp Air Relief Valve is engineered for scenarios where air must be extracted from a pipeline without compromising valuable product. Utilizing a ferrule, housing with a polymer ball, and a vent pipe, all interconnected via standard tri-clamps, this valve is designed to maintain system integrity. Its double-seated configuration prevents air ingress under negative pressure, while allowing slight opening under vacuum conditions to avoid rapid line drainage.

Perfect for systems where air pockets develop in tube lines or on the suction side of pumps, the HAV Series Air Relief Valve autonomously purges air before pump activation, mitigating air binding and cavitation. Note: This valve is unsuitable for liquids with a specific gravity below 1.0.
